Production Guarantee in EN 14214 Standards

You can find information about Biodiesel production from many websites on the internet.  On these websites Biodiesel is produced in very simply way. Unfortunately, some of these pages are official or these pages are prepared by academicians. Yes, you can produce Biodiesel very simply at your home as well. However, you cannot sell this Biodiesel as fuel. In order to sell Biodiesel as fuel or mix it with normal diesel, Biodiesel should be appropriate for EN 14214 standards.

Ester Ratio always bigger than %99.

If Ester Ratio of Biodiesel that you produce is not bigger than %99, it means that oil or methanol remains. As you can see on the internet, with the simple production ways  like warm up the oil to 55 degrees, mix it with methanol and catalyst and leave fallow etc, Biodiesel Ester Ratio will be only around %70. It is not possible to use this kind of Biodiesel at vechiles.

Closed System Production

In order to produce Biodiesel conforming to standards, much more amount of Methol is used. Excess Methanol, turn back to the reactor with automatic reflux system during the reaction.
